Resignation

Lock me up and throw away the key
Brandishing my claim to insanity
Banging on door to door
Scars; dozens to the score
To have another dream shattered
Shining shards that once mattered
To be forsaken by one’s own identity
To build it again, only fragmentary
Lock me up and throw away the key
Set me free of my misery.

Hi! I write not to comment on this post but about your entire blog. I have gone through most of your posts, including last year's, and must say you are a angelic dreamer that, being on Mother Earth, sees dark and ugly happenings and gets massively troubled and perplexed by it. Your posts have a raw divine nature and I enjoyed going through them. It reminded me a bit about myself when I was 22 (that was 16 years back) and a rebel with many causes. I will encourage you too to rebel at the unfairness and injustices, but can share from experience that don't expect the world to change for the good any time now or soon. But do your bit, it matters. It matters not only or the world but for your own spiritual evolution. But do also detach yourself from the unpleasant world so that the negative energies of others do not bog you down. It sounds contradictory and difficult, but give it a shot nevertheless. I am sorry for being preachy above, but my brightest wishes are with you. If you have the time, do write back to me directly at rgajra(at)gmail(dot)com.
